What you will do

• Design and implement ESD protection circuits for a diverse range of IC devices, including high-voltage (HV) structures and general purpose IOs.
• Establish and refine ESD and LUP rules for new process nodes, focusing on high-voltage test structures and silicon validation.
• Review customer specifications to determine optimal protection strategies and provide technical guidance to internal teams and partners.
• Direct and perform laboratory test procedures to verify that protection schemes meet performance targets.
• Lead the debugging and resolution of testing failures identified during production qualification or from field returns.
• Coordinate with CAD/Software teams to integrate ESD/LUP flows into standardized design environments.

Requirements

• M.S. in engineering or a related field.
• At least 10 years of professional work experience in hardware engineering.
• Strong fundamental understanding of device physics and semiconductor reliability.
• Experience with industry-standard EDA tools for verification, such as Calibre PERC and Ansys PathFinder.
• Excellent ability to communicate complex technical trade-offs to management and customers.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chandler, AZ, USA.
