What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data products to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Implement capability-focused QA tests to validate business rules, completeness, and technical thresholds.
• Collaborate with domain Data Engineers and stakeholders, ensuring thorough documentation in Confluence and README files.
• Optimize compute jobs and implement data contracts to reduce long-term costs and enhance maintainability.
• Investigate and resolve failed loads or QA breaches in coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building cloud data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python/PySpark, and Airflow (or similar schedulers).
• Proven experience implementing idempotent or merge-based ingestion patterns.
• Familiarity with automated data testing frameworks such as Great Expectations or Soda tests.
• Strong soft skills, including a mentoring mindset and commitment to high-quality documentation.
