Senior Data Engineer Consultant (Azure)

What you will do

• Build robust, scalable data pipelines for the efficient ingestion and processing of structured and unstructured data.
• Design and implement cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP and distributed frameworks like Spark and Kafka.
• Develop logical and physical data models and optimize relational, NoSQL, time-series, and graph databases.
• Enable continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of data services using modern DataOps practices.
• Lead client engagements as a subject matter expert and mentor junior to medior consultants.
• Drive business development by crafting proposals and contributing to thought leadership through publications and events.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• 3-6 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Fluency in English and fluency in either Dutch or French.
• Existing right to work in Belgium (no work permit sponsorship available).
