Platform Engineer (iGaming)

Platform Engineer (DevOps): Building and maintaining an internal developer platform to enable seamless software delivery with an accent on self-serviceability, automation, and infrastructure-as-code. Location: Hybrid in Liège, Belgium (possibility to work remotely up to 50%)

What you will do

• Co-design and implement platform capabilities using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
• Create self-service tools and automation to improve developer productivity.
• Ensure security standards are applied and monitor performance, capacity, and availability.
• Implement and validate disaster recovery procedures and test platform resilience.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to drive platform innovation.
• Evangelize platform capabilities through documentation and workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Working knowledge of container technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
• Ability to write code for automation purposes using Python, .NET, or similar.
• Must be based in or able to work from Liège, Belgium.

Nice to have

• Experience building self-service interfaces and developer portals.
• Knowledge of observability tools like DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or IAM providers.
• Product thinking mindset to prioritize platform features based on user needs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and developer experience tools.
