What you will do

• Implement HSE strategy globally, aligning with sustainability goals across diverse jurisdictions.
• Coach and train staff on HSE ownership, incident investigations, and near-miss analyses.
• Develop tools, templates, and systems for corrective actions and lessons learned sharing.
• Champion safety culture through leadership, engagement, and communication.
• Provide HSE expertise, develop policies, and ensure compliance with local and global standards.
• Conduct audits, risk assessments, and environmental monitoring; analyze performance data for reports.
• Deliver training on hazards, emergencies, and leadership safety; partner with operations and legal teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years in HSE role with success in driving safety culture
• Experience with HSE software (DATS, Intelex, Cority)
• Direct experience in mining or oil & gas exploration/production
• Expert knowledge of global HSE legislation, mining standards, and best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, and computer skills; medically fit for strenuous activity.
