What you will do

• Own features end-to-end from technical scoping and design to deployment and post-launch iteration.
• Design and extend schemas, APIs, and business logic to support new product capabilities.
• Ship high-quality fullstack code across the platform to improve user interaction with AI.
• Integrate real user feedback and data to iteratively improve shipped features.
• Collaborate with ML researchers to transition research services into production for product development.
• Partner with design and product teams to define the product roadmap and feature set.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on product development.
• Proficiency in building user-facing web applications spanning frontend, backend/API, and database.
• Proven track record of owning the full arc of a feature from problem definition to post-launch iteration.
• Clear and concise communication skills for explaining technical decisions.
• Strong product engineering identity with a focus on user impact over clean code alone.
• Must be based in the Bay Area.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NextJS, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, ShadCN, HonoJS, Postgres, and Vitest.
• Experience with Supabase or Vercel's AI SDK.
• Ability to determine product requirements independently through user interviews and data analysis.
