What you will do

• Conduct research and experiments to improve the performance of traffic shaping algorithms.
• Build proof-of-concept ML models and drive them through to full-scale production.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to support and influence product strategies via analytics.
• Monitor statistical modeling performance using dashboards and alerts (Prometheus, Grafana, Looker).
• Develop reusable modules and data structures to optimize internal data science workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of work experience in Data Science or Machine Learning.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including version control, testing, and writing production-ready code.
• Must be based in New York, NY.
• Excellent technical communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Spark, AWS, Docker, DataBricks, ONNX, MySQL, Snowflake, and Airflow.
• Proficiency with scikit-learn for data analysis and model prototyping.
