What you will do

• Perform audits and reviews of engineering artifacts to ensure compliance with hirify.global, Military, FAA, EASA, and NASA requirements.
• Identify variances and track problem resolution through corrective action requests.
• Collaborate within multi-disciplinary design teams across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Collect and report project performance data to provide insight into potential problems.
• Conduct phase transition audits and test readiness reviews for qualification testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years of experience in QA, Design Engineering, or New Product Introduction.
• Working knowledge of Configuration Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Validation & Verification.
• Basic understanding of systems, electrical, or software engineering disciplines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio).
• Must be based in or able to work in Buffalo/Elma, NY.
• This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of AS9115A, IEEE 12207-2017, AS9100 Rev. D, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, or NASA standards.
• Transferable U.S. security clearance.
