TL;DR

Fullstack Tech Lead (L2 Support) (Java/AWS): Leading L2 support operations and critical incident response for a global telecommunications backbone with an accent on production debugging, root cause analysis, and SLA compliance. Focus on resolving high-complexity P1/P2 incidents, mentoring engineers, and optimizing automated workflows.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Argentina)

What you will do

  • Lead P1/P2 critical incident response, driving resolution and conducting post-mortems.
  • Perform code-level investigations and implement hotfixes for highest-complexity issues.
  • Manage daily operations including ticket triage, assignment to L1/L2, and escalation.
  • Mentor Java and DevOps engineers to drive technical excellence within the support team.
  • Participate in the Change Advisory Board (CAB), release planning, and post-deployment validation.
  • Maintain the team's Knowledge Base and coordinate knowledge transfer from vendors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in application support or software engineering with heavy support focus.
  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Senior Engineer in managed services.
  • Expertise in Java (6-17), SpringBoot, and JBoss/WildFly.
  • Strong mastery of Oracle 11g and MS SQL Server (query optimization and stored procedures).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch), Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Fluent English proficiency for global communication and documentation.
  • Must be based in Argentina.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Datadog for dashboards, alert configuration, and log correlation.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow for incident and change management workflows.
