Intern (Engineering): Participating in day-to-day operations of the project management team within the construction industry with an accent on project support and safety compliance. Focus on coordinating subcontractors, material tracking, and assisting with bid packages.

What you will do

• Support project management with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, and document control (submittals, RFIs, and change orders).
• Assist in the preparation of bid packages and the solicitation and review of subcontractor bids.
• Collaborate with site operations to assist with project layout, construction drawing coordination, and verification of site conditions.
• Perform site visits to attend preconstruction meetings and client walk-throughs.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSEQ guidelines and local requirements such as OSHA and USACE EM385.1.1.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant).
• Ability to drive between project sites and work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Physical capability to walk uneven terrain and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
