Construction Quality Assurance Analyst (Border Construction): Supporting US Border Patrol programs in execution of border construction projects with an accent on surveillance, safety, quality assurance, and contractor oversight. Focus on reviewing schedules and payments, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, environmental practices, and safety regulations.

Location: Ajo, AZ. Only U.S. citizens eligible; must pass government background investigation. Ability to travel between job sites.

What you will do

• Maintain day-to-day surveillance over field engineering activities for major military construction projects.
• Provide expertise on safety and quality assurance, ensuring adherence to regulations.
• Review contractor schedules, payment estimates, progress reports, and materials used.
• Prepare daily activity reports including progress, delays, weather, and issues.
• Monitor work layout, inspect progress, analyze problems, and interpret plans and specifications.
• Support outreach efforts, environmental compliance, and project managers as directed.

Requirements

• 3-10 years experience and bachelor’s degree (substitutions: 6 years experience or associate’s + 4 years).
• 3 years construction oversight experience including surveillance, monitoring, controlling all types of construction (horizontal preferred), reviewing technical data, pay estimates, enforcing standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, Autodesk, etc.).
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to solve problems, manage multiple projects, work as team player.
