Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure/Terraform): Managing and scaling Azure cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters with an accent on Infrastructure as Code and MLOps expansion. Focus on designing MLOps pipelines, optimizing AKS and serverless architectures, and automating CI/CD for GraphQL APIs.

Location: Remote, but must be able to visit the office in Kraków, Poland once per quarter

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, and scale Azure cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
• Optimize containerized workloads in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and serverless deployments via Azure Functions.
• Lead the infrastructure setup for MLOps initiatives, provisioning services for ML model training and deployment.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and application deployment.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure high availability and performance of GraphQL APIs.
• Mentor team members and enforce DevOps and security best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and strong Terraform skills (state management, custom modules).
• Solid background in managing AKS and Azure Functions.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
• English: Very good proficiency required.
• Location: Ability to be on-site in Kraków once per quarter is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience with MLOps tools such as Azure Machine Learning or MLflow.
• Understanding of GraphQL monitoring and routing.
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Familiarity with observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
