DevOps Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

DevOps Engineer (GCP/Terraform): Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a greenfield banking platform with an accent on scalability and security. Focus on automating infrastructure with Terraform, managing Kubernetes clusters, and implementing DevSecOps practices.

Location: Hybrid from Warsaw, Gdynia, or Gdansk (3 days from office)

Salary: 600 - 1100 PLN/day

What you will do

• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD for multiple development teams.
• Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Automate infrastructure and deployments using Terraform and scripting.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Implement security best practices following a DevSecOps approach.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in a DevOps, Platform, or SRE role.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, or AWS/Azure).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD).
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
• Scripting skills in Python or Bash.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Warsaw, Gdynia, or Gdansk (3 days/week in office).

Nice to have

• Experience with messaging/streaming tools like Apache Kafka.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring, Flutter, or React deployment processes.
• Experience in fintech or banking domains.
