TL;DR
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/EdTech): Designing and building a secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for an EdTech platform with an accent on Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration. Focus on implementing zero-downtime releases, optimizing cloud costs, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines.
Location: Full Remote (Poland). Proficient level of Polish and English required.
Salary: 85,000 – 90,000 PLN per year

What you will do
- Design and build cloud infrastructure on AWS using EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, S3, and other core services.
- Develop production-grade Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Amazon ECS/EKS (Fargate) to ensure zero-downtime releases.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Configure system observability and security using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish DevOps best-practice documentation.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both Polish and English languages.
- Solid experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC best practices).
- Proven expertise in Docker and ECS/EKS orchestration, preferably with Fargate.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and either Python or Go.
- Knowledge of Serverless architectures (API Gateway, SNS, SQS) and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, and networking (Cisco, pfsense, Linux).
