TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP/Terraform): Designing and implementing a cloud-native banking infrastructure from scratch for a fintech platform with an accent on CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and DevSecOps. Focus on building scalable GCP environments, designing logical and deployment architecture, and ensuring high security for core banking systems.

Location: Hybrid in Warszawa, Gdynia, or Gdańsk (3 days from the office)

Salary: 1100 - 1500 PLN/day (B2B)

What you will do

• Design and build GCP cloud infrastructure from scratch for a greenfield fintech platform.
• Develop logical and deployment infrastructure architecture for a multi-squad environment.
• Establish and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for 9 development squads across backend and frontend.
• Implement and manage container orchestration using Kubernetes (K8s).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.
• Embed DevSecOps practices using GCP-native security tools to ensure a secure platform.

Requirements

• Commercial experience as a DevOps, Platform, or SRE Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines for multi-team environments.
• Fluent English for professional spoken and written communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or similar distributed messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with Java/Spring and Flutter/React build toolchains.
• Experience with monitoring stacks like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Prior experience in the financial services or banking domain.
• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification.
