What you will do

• Lead photo shoot production for features, covers, and special projects, from commissioning teams to on-set coordination and budget management.
• Conceive digital-first photo strategies, secure multimedia assets, and adapt content for social, video, and web platforms.
• Review portfolios, build relationships with agencies and photographers, curate lists, and create mood boards.
• Create production documents like timelines, schedules, shot lists, and call sheets, communicating with stakeholders.
• Liaise across departments for tentpole projects like Hollywood issue and awards seasons, including travel to portrait studios at film festivals.
• Manage budgets, negotiate rates, track invoices, secure contracts and usage rights.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years in photo/visual production and editing, preferably magazines, with established contacts in agencies, photographers, stylists.
• Experience leading complex editorial shoots and navigating strong personalities.
• Passion for current events, visual culture, and art history foundation.
• Strong editorial judgment for visual stories across platforms.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent communication, collaborative in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel for assignments and shoots.
