Junior Associate Director, Private Equity Fund Accounting (Evening Shift)

Junior Associate Director, Private Equity Fund Accounting (Evening Shift): Provide a full range of fund accounting services to private equity clients, including NAV review and preparation, portfolio pricing, capital call and distribution calculations, fee schedules, and investor allocations with an accent on reviewing accruals, security pricing, reconciliations, and compliance with fund documents. Focus on preparing NAV packages, audited financial statements, regulatory services, and handling ad hoc client requests while performing shift work from 2pm to 11pm.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Hybrid, Evening Shift 2pm-11pm required)

What you will do

• Provide full fund accounting services including NAV review/preparation, accruals, security pricing, and cash/security reconciliations.
• Review/prepare portfolio pricing, capital calls, distributions, fee schedules (management fees, waterfalls), and investor allocations.
• Prepare NAV packages, audited financial statements, and other deliverables per service level agreements.
• Handle ad hoc requests/projects and communicate with internal teams and external clients.
• Assist with audits and regulatory services as applicable.

Requirements

• University degree; professional designation (ACCA, CPA, CMA) as an asset.
• At least 3 years in Fund Administration, with 2+ years in Private Equity.
• Experience with Private Equity accounting systems, preferably Investran.
• Strong knowledge of Private Equity structures, regulatory requirements, waterfall calculations.
• Experience reviewing Limited Partnership Agreements and Offering Memorandums.
• Supervisory, coaching, or mentoring experience.
