What you will do

• Perform financial reconciliations by reviewing transactions, bank settlements, and billing reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure data integrity through validations of accounting entries, balances, and system interfaces.
• Process payments and customer refunds in line with policies and regulations.
• Support month-end close by preparing ledger records and summary reports.
• Enhance processes by reviewing and implementing improvements based on best practices.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and analyses for operational and strategic needs.
• Collaborate with external providers, finance, and cross-functional teams; support audits and daily operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in regulated financial entity, fintech, or advising in financial/fintech sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, PSD2, AML, GDPR, and other financial regulations for payments and reconciliation.
• Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, initiative, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective collaboration across teams and departments.
