What you will do

• Own the team’s delivery lifecycle, driving predictable shipping while managing technical debt and stability.
• Mentor and coach engineers, conduct performance reviews, and build a psychologically safe team environment.
• Champion operational excellence with high standards for code quality, testing, monitoring, and incident response.
• Partner with Product and Design on Continuous Discovery to validate ideas and drive business outcomes.
• Guide architectural vision and technical decisions, balancing short-term needs with long-term scalability.

Requirements

• 5+ years software engineering experience with strong backend or full-stack background.
• 2+ years formally leading or managing an engineering team.
• Proficiency in modern web stacks (Java, Python, or Node.js backend; React or Angular frontend) and Cloud Native (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Experience managing high-velocity CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
• Experience with coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and automation tools.
• Track record in Product Operating Model and high-scale production systems.
