What you will do

• Participate in the full development lifecycle of critical platform services, from architecture and coding to deployment and monitoring.
• Build and maintain scalable backend systems capable of handling large datasets and high volumes of data.
• Champion technical excellence by adhering to best practices in system design and AI integration.
• Collaborate with product managers and tech leads to deliver impactful, end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to team initiatives and the adoption of AI-driven development tools.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria (Hybrid capacity).
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building production backend systems.
• Deep understanding of event-driven microservices architectures and scalable system design.
• Solid knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and OOP.
• English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Experience using AI-driven development tools to enhance productivity.
