Network Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Build and maintain network configurations using Terraform, Ansible, and Python with Git-based workflows and peer reviews.
• Operate CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes, implementing plan/apply separation and rollback capabilities.
• Manage FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall platforms, including automated rule lifecycle management and cleanup.
• Coordinate routing for edge and interconnect connectivity to cloud environments in collaboration with platform teams.
• Apply security-by-design principles, including Zero Trust, segmentation, NAC, and perimeter protection.
• Implement network observability through NetFlow analysis, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise networking (data center, on-premises, and edge connectivity).
• Hands-on expertise with Network-as-Code using Terraform, Ansible, and/or Python.
• Practical experience operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes.
• Solid working knowledge of FortiGate and Palo Alto firewall technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud routing and security-by-design concepts.
• Must be based in Europe or the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cloudflare (DNS, WAF, DDoS protection, or Zero Trust).
• Exposure to financial services or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with DORA or ECB-style operational resilience and network controls.
