What you will do

• Act as the final L3 escalation point for complex server, hosting, and network-related issues.
• Manage and optimize Linux-based hosting environments (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL) and web stacks (Apache, Nginx, LiteSpeed).
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Perl, and utilize Ansible or Terraform for infrastructure deployments.
• Deploy and manage KVM, OpenStack, VMware, and containerized environments like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement security best practices, firewall rules, and perform vulnerability assessments.
• Set up and manage monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, and Nagios.

Requirements

• Must be based in Egypt.
• 11+ years of hands-on Linux system administration experience in web hosting or cloud environments.
• 7+ years of experience in a Senior or Level 3 Engineer role.
• Expert knowledge of KVM and Libvirt with at least 7 years of experience.
• Proficiency with web hosting technologies including cPanel, Plesk, WHM, and LAMP/LEMP stacks.
• Strong scripting ability in Perl, Bash, and Python.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as RHCE, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, or CKA.
