What you will do

• Implement treatment plans and exercises to improve motor and cognitive abilities of clients.
• Evaluate, document, and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL) to improve overall independence.
• Demonstrate therapeutic exercises and provide feedback and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure all patient needs are met.

Requirements

• Certification in Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, procedures, and techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Physical strength and dexterity required for patient handling tasks.
• Availability for afternoons, evenings, and Sundays is a plus.
