What you will do

• Lead architecture and development of native Windows apps using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, and XAML.
• Enforce best practices for performance, memory usage, and cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+).
• Integrate and validate accessibility APIs (Microsoft UI Automation) to ensure software inclusivity.
• Collaborate with designers, UX researchers, and QA to shape the Windows platform roadmap.
• Own the full feature lifecycle from conception and design to release and maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex bugs, memory leaks, and rendering issues.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Windows desktop development (Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML).
• Experience with native Windows code (C++, Win32/WinRT/COM).
• Deep understanding of interop between managed (.NET) and native code.
• Proven track record of shipping production-quality desktop applications.
• Strong experience with Windows accessibility APIs.
• Must be based in the United States.

• Experience with automated UI testing (unit, integration, and automation frameworks).
• Performance optimization for desktop apps (startup time, high-DPI support).
• Localization, globalization, and RTL UI support.
• Familiarity with telemetry, crash reporting, and error monitoring.
• Experience shaping CI/CD workflows and deployment strategies for desktop apps.
