TL;DR

Engineering Lead (Golang/Fintech): Leading a team of engineers to build a next-generation digital platform for trading, investing, and protecting digital assets with an accent on secure custody and high-availability infrastructure. Focus on technical leadership, system architecture, and bridging the gap between production and development.

Location: Hybrid in Lausanne, Geneva, Zurich, or Sion. Must be a Swiss or European candidate wishing to move to Switzerland

What you will do

  • Act as a technical leader and enabler for a development team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product requirements are understood and the roadmap is delivered on time.
  • Perform technical analysis and design of system requirements.
  • Write clean, modular, maintainable, and robust code.
  • Take full ownership of the product from design and implementation to deployment and support.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience.
  • Proven experience managing development teams as a tech lead or team lead.
  • Solid proficiency in Golang, Java, or Rust and a good understanding of the cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in software/system architecture and modern development practices (CI/CD, testing).
  • Experience with Linux, networking, security, cryptography, and distributed systems.
  • Must be a Swiss or European candidate willing to relocate to Switzerland

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, or Terraform.
  • Knowledge of Angular, TypeScript, or Flutter.
  • Experience within blockchain, DeFi, trading, finance, or digital assets ecosystems.
