What you will do

• Collaborate with the product owner to evolve the technical and experience design for new DemandCenter features and modules.
• Design extensible and scalable multi-threaded solutions, optimizing for resource utilization and performance.
• Code, test, and optimize designs across microservices and subsystems.
• Refactor legacy code to simplify the system and ensure high maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve product and platform issues in coordination with customer support.
• Manage Java services on AWS and monitor emerging SQL and NoSQL database trends for adoption.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering building highly scalable systems.
• 8+ years of Java development experience with advanced knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience developing multi-threaded Java-based services.
• Proficiency with Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Strong experience with the AWS framework and running Java services on AWS.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder (no H1 sponsorship).
