System Engineer [Cyprus]

Responsibilities

• Support and maintenance of existing company infrastructure.
• Participation in the arrangement of workplaces: setup, connection, installation of applications.
• Monitoring and managing IT systems.
• Primary diagnostics of equipment malfunctions, ensuring the operability and safety of the company’s network.
• Setting up and maintenance of peripheral equipment, service.
• Inventory of IT equipment.
• Setting up servers and network equipment.
• Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
• Prompt troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Linux Ubuntu, Windows 10, MacOS
• Work experience with Firewall, VPN (L2TP, IPSec/OpenVPN)
• Understanding of work principles NAT, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
• Experience with Windows Active Directory, LDAP, RDS etc.
• The ability to configure network equipment Mikrotik, Cisco, Ubiquity etc.
• Understanding of the model OSI.
• Knowledge of software (MS Office 365, antivirus programs, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills

Would be a plus

• Understanding of Jira/Confluence.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
