What you will do

• Implement control and supervisory functions for e-drive and range extender including torque arbitration, regen blending, and diagnostics hooks.
• Translate requirements to software architectures, state machines, algorithms with clear interfaces; integrate with BMS, inverter via CAN/CAN FD/LIN/Ethernet.
• Create unit/integration tests, HIL/SIL test benches, enable automated CI regression; collaborate on defect triage.
• Produce documentation including design specs, ICDs, requirement specs, and safety work products.
• Build data ingestion pipelines for measurement files; develop analytics for KPIs, anomaly detection, dashboards.
• Collaborate with controls, calibration, diagnostics teams; contribute to DevOps practices.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years in embedded software development for automotive/propulsion; EV/HEV experience preferred.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets.
• Experience with vehicle networking & diagnostics (CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, UDS/ISO 14229).
• Understanding of control systems, real-time constraints, ISO 26262 safety.
• Strong data engineering skills: Python (pandas, NumPy), time-series, MDF readers, Spark/SQL.
• Hands-on with Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), static analysis, Jira.

Nice to have

• Model-based design (MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow).
• AUTOSAR (Classic/Adaptive), cybersecurity (ISO 21434), performance profiling.
