What you will do

• Develop interior and exterior lighting standards to ensure product robustness and proper electrical connection points in vehicle architectures.
• Lead product development teams and collaborate cross-functionally to execute unique vehicle accessories and bring them to market.
• Manage RFQ packages, technical reviews, and supplier selection processes.
• Direct the creation and validation of 3D CAD models using analytical models such as Optics, FEA, and CFD.
• Establish product specifications, test plans (DVP&R), DFMEA, and quality assurance requirements.
• Track open issues and ensure all program targets regarding cost, budget, timing, and weight are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Optical Engineering.
• Proven experience solving complex technical challenges in automotive product design and development.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5/V6 (CAD) and Teamcenter (PLM) tools.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, GD&T, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
• Experience with automotive product launches, including prototype builds and production ramp-up.
• Ability to travel globally and participate in events on behalf of the company.
