TL;DR

Manufacturing Planner II (Logistics/CNC): Scheduling manufacturing operations to maximize efficiency and capacity for on-time delivery with an accent on resource allocation and supply chain coordination. Focus on optimizing production queues, managing material inventory, and implementing continuous improvement projects to reduce late orders.

Location: On-site in Brooklyn Park, MN. Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident (Green Card), or granted refugee/asylee status due to ITAR regulations.

Salary: $25.91 - $35 per hour

What you will do

  • Review manufacturing queues daily and coordinate with production and maintenance to manage labor and equipment constraints.
  • Develop and implement tools to prioritize large quantity, expedite, and short lead time jobs.
  • Analyze demand and make recommendations for flexing machines between product types.
  • Identify root causes of build and reject issues to implement corrective actions and lead continuous improvement projects.
  • Act as the primary liaison for Customer Service to resolve ship holds and mitigate potential late orders.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, consumable supplies, and outsourcing activities such as anodizing.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing planning and scheduling experience.
  • APICS certification.
  • Proven experience working within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong IT skills with the ability to analyze data and train others on systems.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
  • U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or specific legal status required for ITAR compliance.
