Operations Associate

TL;DR

Operations Associate (Cross-Asset Trading): Supporting portfolio managers and traders with trade capture, reconciliation, query resolution, settlement, compressions, collapses, and corporate actions with an accent on daily positions and cash reconciliation. Focus on ensuring OMS consistency for reliable mark-to-market PnL and interfacing with technology, compliance, treasury, and pricing teams.

Location: Hybrid in Baar ZG, Switzerland (up to 2 days remote per week)

What you will do

• Support portfolio managers and execution traders with trade capture, reconciliation, position/trade queries, ad-hoc reporting, settlement, compressions, collapses, and corporate actions.
• Manage daily positions and cash reconciliation complexities.
• Ensure OMS information consistency for reliable mark-to-market PnL.
• Interface with technology team to improve workflow, reporting automation, and scalability.
• Collaborate with compliance on order filtering and exceptions.
• Handle treasury activities including collateral and cash-equivalent management.
• Participate in pricing and valuation review through common data standards.

Requirements

• 2-5 years hands-on experience in operations team with significant flow including automated trading
• Experience performing trade settlement, position, and PnL reconciliations
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in IRS, CDS/CDX, FX forwards, cash equities, especially credit workflows like blended-coupon compressions for CDX
• Experience in collateral management (margin and cash)
• Experience with corporate actions in cash equities
• Proficiency in German
