What you will do

• Lead the music vertical's editorial strategy, content planning, and overall direction to drive traffic growth.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of writers and editors, ensuring output targets and quality standards are met.
• Utilize Google Analytics and other data sources to research and identify high-traffic topics and content types.
• Coordinate with HR and training teams to handle talent acquisition, interviewing, and onboarding of new contributors.
• Audit the site to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions for achieving sessions targets.
• Participate in site leadership and attend daily editorial pitch meetings to maintain the editorial vision.

Requirements

• Experience in senior editing roles such as Managing Editor, Deputy Editor, or Editor-in-Chief within a digital music publication.
• Proven track record of growing a team, expanding coverage, and driving significant web traffic.
• Proficiency in SEO and analytics tools, specifically Google Analytics (GA).
• Strong writing skills and the ability to perform basic image editing.
• Experience in freelance writer management and personnel growth support.
