Finance & Accounting Business Systems Analyst Consultant (Insurance): Analyze and optimize finance workflows including AR, AP, invoicing, and treasury management with an accent on requirements elicitation, process flow diagramming, and standardization. Focus on interviewing stakeholders, reviewing current-state processes, and implementing complex solutions in fast-paced environments.

What you will do

• Interview stakeholders across profit centers to map current-state finance workflows.
• Review and analyze processes like invoicing, cash application, AR/AP, monthly close, reporting, and treasury management.
• Gather and document requirements for system improvements.
• Work with systems such as Velocity/Verity, Kyriba, Blackline, Workday Financials, InsCipher, and AMS360.
• Facilitate sessions with leadership and build relationships with process owners.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of business systems analysis in finance/accounting environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Strong finance knowledge and working knowledge of GAAP standards.
• BSA experience including requirements gathering, documentation, and process flow diagramming (MS Visio preferred).
• Experience analyzing large datasets; strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong facilitation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills; client-facing experience.

Nice to have

• Insurance industry experience.
• Six Sigma and process standardization/improvement experience.
