What you will do

• Design and build integration services within a distributed, event-driven architecture to enable scalable connections between hirify.global and third-party systems.
• Develop and maintain APIs, background workers, and message processing pipelines using Ruby on Rails.
• Architect reusable solutions that support multiple clients and integration types with minimal custom code.
• Collaborate with client technical teams to define integration specifications and guide implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
• Document integration flows, architecture decisions, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise integration context.
• Experience designing and building scalable, event-driven or message-based systems (queues, pub/sub).
• Strong proficiency in APIs, RESTful design, and at least one backend language (Ruby, Python, or Node.js).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Unable to sponsor work visas at this time.
