Salary: $135,000 - 165,000

What you will do
- Design and build integration services within a distributed, event-driven architecture to enable scalable connections between and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain APIs, background workers, and message processing pipelines using Ruby on Rails.
- Architect reusable solutions that support multiple clients and integration types with minimal custom code.
- Collaborate with client technical teams to define integration specifications and guide implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
- Document integration flows, architecture decisions, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in a SaaS or enterprise integration context.
- Experience designing and building scalable, event-driven or message-based systems (queues, pub/sub).
- Strong proficiency in APIs, RESTful design, and at least one backend language (Ruby, Python, or Node.js).
- Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD workflows.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Unable to sponsor work visas at this time.
