Salary: €50,000 – €90,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead product assignments through all phases of planning, development, and delivery.
• Actively participate in architectural design and technical decision-making.
• Conduct code peer-reviews and mentor junior and mid-level team members to ensure high code quality.
• Develop services using Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, and Postgres.
• Improve system architecture, scalability, and security using Kubernetes, Docker, and gcloud.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance the product and customer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and preferably Spring Boot.
• Expertise in Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Extensive unit and integration testing skills.
• English: Mandatory.
• Location: Must be based in a time zone +/- 2 hours from Berlin time.

Nice to have

• Experience in investing, personal wealth management, or the stock market.
• Mathematical proficiency or statistical training.
• Experience with Machine Learning (ML).
• Experience with big-data stacks such as MongoDB or Cassandra.
• German language skills.
