What you will do

• Build and deploy internal AI tools, including sourcing agents and research copilots, to increase team effectiveness.
• Explore and implement frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and open-weight systems within a venture context.
• Define and spearhead the AI strategy for the firm's internal operations, including build vs. buy decisions.
• Prototype and build the technical backbone for sourcing, diligence, and portfolio support.

Requirements

• Experience as a product-minded engineer or former founder who thrives on zero-to-one challenges.
• Proven track record of shipping production-grade tools using LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval systems.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and modern ML/infra stacks (e.g., Vercel, LanceDB).
• Must be based in the SF Bay Area to work side-by-side with investors in-office.
