TL;DR

Retirement Plan Advisor, Sales (Finance): Develop new business and provide fiduciary guidance to Plan Sponsors on DC plan management including investments, compliance, plan design, services providers, and financial wellness. Focus on hunting and initiating new direct contacts, developing prospects and Centers of Influence, and cross-selling Sentinel’s full range of services.

Location: Remote (US-based, compensation calibrated to geographic location)

Salary: $65,000-$125,000 base + commissions

What you will do

  • Establish relationships across the organization to understand Sentinel’s products and services.
  • Build business through cross-sell opportunities with current and prospective clients.
  • Identify and qualify prospects, research sales options, and conduct prospect meetings.
  • Collaborate with marketing on client events, email campaigns, and networking.
  • Develop relationships with referral partners and Centers of Influence.
  • Maintain industry expertise through workshops, publications, and professional networks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of sales experience in retirement, advisory, and compliance services
  • Licensed (Series 65) and Life, Accident and Health
  • DC/DB consulting experience including plan design and documents
  • Familiarity with DC markets and record keepers
  • Superior presentation, communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ability to learn software
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
