TL;DR

Operations Associate (Financial Services): Perform entry-level operations for retirement and reimbursement plans such as payroll processing, contribution reconciliation, and distribution handling with an accent on accuracy, multi-tasking, and client service. Focus on monitoring transactions, generating reports, processing participant requests, and assisting internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Hybrid in Wakefield, MA or Troy, MI (1-2 days per week) preferred. Role can also be remote.

Salary Range: $45,000-$50,000

What you will do

  • Respond to incoming tickets from other departments and assist with client inquiries.
  • Monitor, process, and reconcile contribution files for retirement and reimbursement plans.
  • Initiate funding requests (ACH), reconcile deposits, and perform cash reconciliation.
  • Process participant contributions, rollovers, loan payments, distributions, and loan requests.
  • Generate and review contributions reports, perform QC on data, and follow up on NIGO requests.
  • Monitor inboxes, log requests to Sales Logix, and participate in special projects.

Requirements

  • Passion for problem solving and operational thinking.
  • Interest in financial services industry.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick learner for new systems (CRMs, recordkeeping).

Nice to have

  • Proven self-starter with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Completed or pursuing ASPPA RPF modules.
