What you will do

• Develop and maintain client relationships across industries, assisting with plan design aligned to company objectives and IRS compliance.
• Answer client questions on plan administration, design, and participant inquiries; review plan documents and amendments.
• Perform defined benefit plan administration: reconcile census data, annual valuations, determine IRS contributions, prepare reports and statements.
• Handle compliance: AFTAP certification, Schedule SB, PBGC filings, Form 5500, nondiscrimination testing, auditor responses, and plan terminations.
• Coordinate funding, benefit calculations, distributions, and annual funding notices.
• Grow knowledge through training and handle team projects as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of actuarial and consulting experience in defined benefit plan valuation, administration, nondiscrimination testing, and plan design.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills with formulas; ability to learn software packages.
• Familiarity with defined benefit/cash balance plans, ERISA, Internal Revenue Code, and compliance testing.
• Strong client service, communication, analytical, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Relius Administration software preferred.
