Focus on verifying records, training personnel, maintaining equipment, and adhering to USP <795>, <800>, state, and federal regulations.

On-site in Gilbert, Arizona. Shift: Sun-Wed 6:30am-5:00pm. Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.

What you will do

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel in compounding activities.
• Perform and document compounding procedures, quality checks, and dispensing.
• Verify formula records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Train and evaluate compounding staff, coordinate equipment maintenance.
• Follow USP, BOP, safety guidelines, and handle hazardous chemicals per USP <800>.
• Conduct patient consultations, drug reviews, and operational tasks like workflow direction and audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy
• Active Pharmacist License in Arizona
• 5+ years pharmacist experience, at least 3 in compounding pharmacy
• Non-sterile compounding experience, strong math skills
• Knowledge of state/federal laws, USP chapters, and compounding best practices
• Ability to work with hazardous drugs, wear PPE/respirator (facial hair restrictions apply), lift 25+ lbs, stand for long periods
• Proficiency in English and Windows systems

Nice to have

• Mail service/mail order pharmacy experience
• Multi-state licensure
