What you will do

• Lead business analysis efforts across public sector projects.
• Elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, and user stories.
• Model and optimize business processes using BPMN or similar methodologies.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to ensure alignment.
• Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into structured business requirements.
• Support UAT planning and validation efforts.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Proven experience working on public sector or government projects (state or federal level).
• Expertise in BPMN process modeling and producing structured technical documentation.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management within highly regulated environments.
• Must be based in the USA.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting state election systems or election-related modernization initiatives.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or PMP.
• Experience with ERP, case management systems, or large-scale government digital transformation.
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments.
