What you will do

• Monitor and resolve issues across the entire tech stack: hardware, software, application, and network.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to reduce operational effort and prevent service disruptions.
• Partner with business users to manage significant events, including disaster recovery tests and major infrastructure changes.
• Define and refine standard operating procedures for monitoring and troubleshooting complex code and infrastructure.
• Identify and drive opportunities to improve platform supportability through automation.
• Participate in weekend and off-hours on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in South Jordan, UT.
• 3-5+ years of practical experience in production systems support or application development.
• Hands-on experience managing systems in a large-scale distributed Unix/Linux environment, including OS-level troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python for automating repetitive tasks and reading existing code.
• Knowledge of ITIL principles and experience using ServiceNow for ticketing.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Java, Go, C++, or Scala.
• Experience with Grafana, Snowflake, or any Cloud platform.
• Background or knowledge in Agentic AI.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Docker) and data streaming technologies like Kafka or Spark.
