What you will do
- Act as the first point of contact for patient inquiries via EHR, secure chat, and phone.
- Coordinate diagnostic testing, imaging, referrals, and prior authorizations in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Serve as a Medical Scribe, accurately documenting patient encounters and physician notes in the EMR.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and support the onboarding process for new patients.
- Identify and implement automations to optimize manual tasks such as chart preparation and patient responses.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of US healthcare experience in care coordination, case management, or virtual clinical support.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Scribe in a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Deep familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems, including insurance, referrals, and prior authorizations.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with Elation EHR or similar digital health platforms.
- Must be based in the Philippines.
- Ability to work strictly within the EST (Eastern Standard Time) schedule.
