Salary: $150,000–$210,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of core iOS platform capabilities, including app architecture, navigation patterns, and shared UI components.
• Drive technical planning for complex, highly regulated healthcare initiatives, managing scoping, dependencies, and risks.
• Deliver high-quality, member-facing iOS features in Swift to bring clinical and behavior-change programs to life.
• Improve app reliability and performance through rigorous testing, observability, and disciplined release practices.
• Establish and evolve shared engineering standards through code reviews and architectural documentation.
• Mentor other engineers through pairing and feedback to grow individual capability and codebase health.

Requirements

• Significant experience building and shipping native iOS applications in production environments.
• Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, XCTest, and modern architecture patterns like MVVM.
• Experience leading technical planning for ambiguous, cross-cutting iOS initiatives such as modularization or large refactors.
• Deep understanding of iOS performance and reliability, including memory management and Swift Concurrency/GCD.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful APIs and secure authentication flows.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to the hirify.global office in Boston, MA.

Nice to have

• Experience building shared mobile foundations across platforms, specifically collaborating with Android teams.
• Experience contributing to backend services and APIs (e.g., Java).
