TL;DR

Scaled Customer Success Manager (PostgreSQL): Managing outcomes for a 1:many customer segment of approximately 1,500 accounts with an accent on portfolio retention, product adoption, and qualified expansion. Focus on designing digital CS motions, analyzing usage telemetry, and leveraging AI tools to scale engagement and mitigate churn.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States, preference for Eastern or Central time zones)

Salary: $90,000–$140,000

What you will do

  • Own the health and outcomes of a scaled portfolio (~1,500 customers), focusing on onboarding acceleration and retention risk mitigation.
  • Design and execute segmented 1:many engagement campaigns using HubSpot, Salesforce, and Outreach.
  • Launch and run a repeatable monthly webinar cadence, including product roadmap sessions and customer roundtables.
  • Analyze product usage data and telemetry to identify leading indicators of churn and growth opportunities.
  • Generate and qualify expansion leads (CSQLs) through usage insights and structured discovery.
  • Leverage AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to optimize campaigns and surface risk patterns.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a Customer Success Manager in a scaling B2B SaaS organization.
  • Experience with technical products, preferably databases (Postgres/SQL), AWS, or general infrastructure.
  • Ability to confidently engage technical stakeholders such as DevOps and Data Engineers.
  • Experience running scaled customer engagement programs and digital outreach.
  • Proficiency in analyzing product usage data to identify risks and expansion opportunities.
  • Must be based in the United States.
