What you will do

• Act as the primary MS SQL Server expert, advising development teams on design and optimization.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DBMS environments across Windows and Linux.
• Design and implement security controls to safeguard organizational data.
• Build automation tools using PowerShell to reduce manual effort and enable low-touch offerings.
• Provide production support and capacity planning for global database infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Engineering and Product support teams to provide feedback and feature requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or another Engineering field.
• 5+ years of experience in a related DBA role.
• Strong expertise in database design, replication, and SQL performance tuning.
• Experience with relational database development for highly concurrent applications.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server environments.
• Strong scripting skills, preferably with PowerShell.
