What you will do

• Lead SQL Server upgrade and migration initiatives, including compatibility-level transitions and rollout planning.
• Perform database administration and engineering to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Identify and remediate bottlenecks in stored procedures, scripts, jobs, and query performance.
• Collaborate with DB, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams to support deployments and smooth migrations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Peru
• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server upgrades, migrations, and compatibility-level transitions.
• Strong expertise in SQL, performance tuning, and query optimization.
• Experience with database monitoring, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
