IT Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Must be based in Bogota, Colombia, and able to work both remotely and in-office when required.

Compensation: $1,500 - $2,000 USD gross per month as a contractor.

What you will do

• Manage device inventory procurement, deployment, physical security for macOS and Windows devices in Colombia.
• Handle ITSD tickets in Jira from inception to completion and contribute to backlog initiatives.
• Provision hardware/software requests, conduct onboarding training, and process employee terminations.
• Maintain technical change awareness, IT security knowledge, and communicate to engineering team.
• Contribute to IT audits on access control and software vendors; handle on-call and occasional after-hours work.

Requirements

• Fluent in English.
• Based in Bogota, Colombia, able to work remotely and in-office.
• 2-6 years experience in IT operations.
• High aptitude in cloud productivity suites, macOS/Windows MDM, Jira workflows, endpoint security.
• Team-oriented, excellent communicator, patient, willing to learn.

Nice to have

• Self-starter able to identify, resolve problems, and implement process improvements.
• Experience with agile teams, Jira ticketing, change management documentation.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOC 2 Type 2, CIS controls implementation and adherence.
