What you will do
- Respond to and resolve IT service desk tickets in Jira for hardware, software, and access issues.
- Diagnose and fix end-user device problems on macOS and Windows.
- Setup, image, and distribute laptops and peripherals for employees.
- Support onboarding by provisioning accounts and configuring systems; assist offboarding with access removal and equipment collection.
- Maintain IT inventory records, tagging, documentation, and audits.
- Update troubleshooting docs, FAQs, and workflows; assist with projects on automation and upgrades.
Requirements
- Location: Remote from Colombia.
- Pursuing a technical degree in IT or related field.
- Familiarity with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Basic understanding of networking, device configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Google Workspace or similar cloud tools.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Prior IT support experience (academic, internship, or volunteer).
- Knowledge of IT security concepts.
- Familiarity with Jira or ticketing systems.
- Interest in CompTIA A+, Google IT Support, or JAMF certifications.
