Software Developer (Propulsion Thermal Management)

TL;DR

Software Developer (Propulsion Thermal Management): Create test scripts to test System Requirements including automated and regression testing with an accent on propulsion thermal systems modeling. Focus on analyzing failures, developing test methodologies, providing feedback on requirements, and collaborating with system architects and CI/CD teams.

Hybrid: Expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (OEC), Ontario three times per week minimum.

What you will do

• Create test scripts for System Requirements including automated and regression testing.
• Analyze results, document failures, and lead defect resolution.
• Develop test methodologies for new product development in collaboration with CI/CD teams.
• Provide feedback to capture requirements clearly in Cosimulation environment.
• Work with Functional System Architects and System Engineering teams to implement test requirements.
• Contribute to best practices, documentation, and process improvements for System tests.
• Participate in product reviews and demos.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in propulsion thermal systems with software/hardware modeling.
• Programming/scripting experience (Python, C, C++).
• Excellent multi-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity and drive timely decisions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Gherkin.
• Experience with ETAS/INCA, Intrepid/Vehicle Spy or similar DAQ tools.
• Working experience with MATLAB and Simulink.
• Experience in automotive communication technologies (CAN, LIN, automotive ethernet).
